Dual-layer memory foam on an egg-crate base
A flat mattress with memory foam on top of an egg-crate base. It is thinner than our sofa beds, 3 to 3.5 inches, which is what you want in a crate, in the back of a car or on a bedroom floor where a dog stretches out across the whole pad.
Under the fleece cover sits a waterproof liner that keeps spills and accidents out of the foam, and the rubberized bottom holds on smooth floors. Six sizes run from 35 by 23 inches to 44 by 32, in four colors.
